I build and test software for checking records, researching information and inspecting market data. My projects connect APIs, store validated records and make failures visible. Earlier work in dispatch and cargo operations informs the practical problems I choose to solve.

Independent projects & open source

Pattern Forge

Built an interactive market chart with candle-pattern detection and historical replay. Added a Python/PostgreSQL ingestion path and tests that prevent later prices from changing an earlier reading.

Polybow - independent project, 2026

Operated a Python trading bot on AWS Lightsail; compared order and account records to investigate mismatches and document failures. Live trading stopped; not evidence of durable profitability.

Info Desk

Built a Python research tool that connects AI drafts to source passages and requires human approval before saving a write. Tested citation checks and source retrieval. Live research runs locally; the public case is recorded.

Haystack #12635 - merged

Fixed a check that incorrectly rejected valid zero values in document metadata; added a regression test and release note. Accepted by the maintainers.

Handled 700+ furniture orders a day in the WMS, booked inbound trucks and prepared DHL dispatch. Used Python and SQL to check order lines against dispatched goods.
