Hyperliquid
Week 10 — Hyperliquid as data
After live Polymarket trading I did not “move the desk to Hyperliquid.” I used public perpetual data: a chart workspace, and a research harness that is allowed to reject its own ideas.
| Live mid | Public WebSocket allMids. Heartbeat, reconnect, no trading account. |
|---|---|
| Closed candles | Fixed public candleSnapshot endpoint, validated in the Next.js API. |
| Bundled BTC file | 5,000 contiguous 5-minute mainnet candles, 11–28 July 2026. A scenario bank, not a performance report. |
| 1 August sweeps | VPIN, vol-state momentum, oscillator divergence, vol-spike exits: closed as alpha or harmful. |
A private tree also has a live book recorder and a large historical bar store. Its own summary is that tested retail-scale rules did not clear the spread. I am not republishing that as a product.
In the portfolio, Hyperliquid is data I can fetch, cache, replay without look-ahead, and throw away. It is not a second live bot.
